Remote sites, Western CanadaFull-time

Option Excavating is looking for an experienced pipelayer for deep utility work on civil projects across Western Canada. You will install mainline water, sanitary, and storm systems to grade and to spec, working with a tight, safety-first underground crew.

What You Will Be Doing

Install water, sanitary, and storm mains and services to line and grade
Check grade with laser and pipe level; verify bedding and cover
Rig, hoist, and land pipe and structures safely with the operator
Install manholes, catch basins, valves, and hydrants
Keep the trench workspace clean, shored, and compliant
Complete daily FLHAs and toolbox talks with the crew

What You Bring

3+ years pipelaying experience on municipal or civil projects
Able to read grade stakes and drawings
CSTS-2020 and Ground Disturbance II
Comfortable with remote/camp rotations
Physically fit for trench work in all seasons

Nice to Have

First Aid ticket
Hydrovac or trenchless experience
Class 5 licence with clean abstract
